to your acceptance of and compliance with the following terms and conditions

you agree that you have read, understood and are bound by the Terms, regardless
of how you subscribe to or use the services. If you do not want to be bound by
the Terms, you must not subscribe to or use our services.

"User" shall mean the end user accessing the Website, its contents
and using the Services offered through the Website. "Service
Providers" mean independent third party service providers, and
"we", "us" and "our" shall mean Xerion Retail Private Limited, its franchisor, affiliates
and partners.

portal operated by Poddar Plantations (A Division of Ripon Estate Ltd.), a
company incorporated under the laws of India.

Use of the Website is
offered to you conditioned on acceptance without modification of all the terms,
conditions and notices contained in these Terms, as may be posted on the
Website from time to time. RiponTea.com at its sole discretion reserves the
right not to accept a User from registering on the Website without assigning
any reason thereof.
User Account,
Password, and Security:
You will receive a
password and account designation upon completing the Website's registration
process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the
password and account, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur
under your password or account. You agree to (a) immediately notify RiponTea.com
of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of
security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each
session. RiponTea.com cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage
arising from your failure to comply with this Section 2.
Services Offered:
RiponTea.com provides
a number of Internet-based services through the Web Site (all such services,
collectively, the "Service"). One such service enables users to
purchase original merchandise such as Tea Dust, Spices, Green Tea
(collectively, "Products"). Upon placing an order, RiponTea.com shall
ship the product to you and be entitled to its payment for the Services.
Privacy Policy:
The User hereby
consents, expresses and agrees that he has read and fully understands the
Privacy Policy of RiponTea.com the Website. The user further consents that the
terms and contents of such Privacy Policy are acceptable to him.
Limited User:
The User agrees and
undertakes not to reverse engineer, modify, copy, distribute, transmit,
display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from,
transfer, or sell any information or software obtained from the Website.
Limited reproduction and copying of the content of the Website is permitted
provided that RiponTea's name is stated as the source
and prior written permission of RiponTea.com is sought. For the removal of
doubt, it is clarified that unlimited or wholesale reproduction, copying of the
content for commercial or non-commercial purposes and unwarranted modification
of data and information within the content of the Website is not permitted.
User Conduct and
Rules:
You agree and
undertake to use the Website and the Service only to post and upload messages
and material that are proper. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you
agree and undertake that when using a Service, you will not:
No Compensation
Policy:
If the quality of any
products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you
through the Website did not meet your expectations, no compensation will be
given other than the Return and refund or Exchange of the product.The
customer cannot request compensation for any reason,including
but not limited to: any variation in the finish or appearance of the final
product; any delay in delivery caused by unforeseen circumstances; any special,
incidental, indirect or consequential damage of any kind caused by a product;
missed opportunities to avail certain discounts; any issue with our Delivery
partners or their personnel; any voucher which got deactivated due to the end
of expiry date; unavailability of items which the customer tried to purchase
etc. Unreasonable and unlawful requests for compensation, over and above the
entitled refund, will be treated as loss to business cases. RiponTea
holds the rights to cancel orders and block accounts of such customers without
any prior notice.
User Warranty and
Representation:
The user guarantees,
warrants, and certifies that you are the owner of the content which you submit
or otherwise authorised to use the content and that
the content does not infringe upon the property rights, intellectual property
rights or other rights of others. You further warrant that to your knowledge,
no action, suit, proceeding, or investigation has been instituted or threatened
relating to any content, including trademark, trade name service mark, and
copyright formerly or currently used by you in connection with the Services
rendered by RiponTea.com.
Exactness Not
Guaranteed:
RiponTea.com hereby
disclaims any guarantees of exactness as to the finish and appearance of the
final Product as ordered by the user. The quality of any products, Services,
information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the Website
may not meet your expectations. Alterations to certain aspects of your order
such as the merchandise brand, size, colour etc. may
be required due to limitations caused by availability of product difference in
size charts of respective brands etc. In this instance you agree that a
representative from RiponTea.com will call you or send an approval request via
the email address which you submitted when placing your order. If you do not
agree with the requested change you retain the right to reject the requested
production change by replying to it within 10 days of it being sent to you. RiponTea.com
may re-request that you accept a production alteration one additional time if
an alternative method to send your merchandise is available. If you reject this
2nd request your order will be cancelled and you will be fully refunded via
your initial method of payment.
Pricing:
Prices for products
are described on our Website and are incorporated into these Terms by
reference. All prices are in Indian rupees. Prices, products and Services may
change at RiponTea.com’s discretion.
Shipping:
Title and risk of loss
for all products ordered by you shall pass on to you upon RiponTea.com's
shipment to the shipping carrier.
Orders of up to 5Kgs
will be sent through the contracted courier service. Orders for quantities
higher than 5Kgs shall be delivered by lorry parcel service which is the most convenient
for both parties.
Intimation regarding
mode delivery will be sent through email. You are requested to check the email
address provided by you for confirmation.
Delivery:
RiponTea.com will make
a maximum of three attempts to deliver your order. In case the customer is not
reachable or does not accept delivery of products in these attempts RiponTea.com
reserves the right to cancel the order(s) at its discretion.
An estimated delivery
time is displayed on the Order Summary page. On placing your order, you will
receive an email containing a summary of the order and also the estimated
delivery time to your location.
Sometimes, delivery
may take longer due to
In such cases, we will
proactively reach out to you. Please check your emails and SMS regularly for
such updates.
Also, we will not be
able to compensate for any mental agony caused due to delay in delivery. The
customer can cancel the order at any moment of time even if the delivery time
exceeds the expected delivery time. If it is a prepaid order, the customer will
be refunded back in the account as soon as the order is successfully cancelled.
"The Buyer agrees
that the title to the goods is transferred to the buyer at the time of placing
the Order and dispatch confirmation thereof irrespective of Shipping of Goods
and COD which are to be done in due course being a separate chargeable
facilities"
Post Delivery:
Returns and Exchange
conditions:
RiponTea.com will
accept Return or Exchange only if the following conditions are met.
Limitation on refund
amount for courier charges
If the customer wants
to instant return or return within 30 days, and RiponTea
does not offer reverse pickup of the items, the customer can send us the
shipment himself/herself. Also, we request the customer to send the scanned
copy of the courier slip to info@ RiponTea.com and RiponTea will
refund the amount. RiponTea will refund the courier
slip amount or INR 160 per kg, whichever is less. Customers, please ensure that
you do not end up paying more than INR 160 per kg for items being returned.
Reverse Pickup
Process:
RiponTea.com will not
be liable for the products returned by mistake
In a scenario where a
product not belonging to RiponTea is returned by
mistake, RiponTea is not accountable for misplacement
of the product and is not responsible for its delivery back to the customer.
Limitation on refund
amount for courier charges
Please do collect the
RVP slip/Written confirmation from the Courier Company that the RVP has been
done for a particular shipment/order.
RVP slip to be
produced in case of discrepancy between customer and our logistics partner
In case of any
discrepancy in the status of reverse pick up of a product, (where the customer
claims the product has been returned, while our system suggests otherwise)
refund will be initiated only if the customer successfully furnishes the RVP
slip given at the time of the pickup.
Unauthorized Charges
on your card
If you see charges on
your credit/debit card for purchases made on RiponTea.com, but you never
created an account or signed up, please check with your family members or
business colleagues authorized to make purchases on your behalf, to confirm
that they haven't placed the order. If you're still unable to recognize the
charge, please report the unauthorized purchase within 60 days of the
transaction to enable RiponTea to begin an
investigation.
Cancellation of Orders
The Service provider reserves
the right to cancel any order if the contracted courier service does not have
coverage in the area specified in the delivery address. Refund of such cancel orders
shall be made on request or after 7 working days.
Intimation regarding cancellation
of your order will be sent through email. You are requested to check the email
address provided by you.
Cancellation of
Fraudulent / Loss to business Orders
To provide a safe and secure shopping
experience, we regularly monitor transactions for fraudulent activity. In the
event of detecting any suspicious activity, RiponTea.com reserves the right to
cancel all past, pending and future orders without any liability. RiponTea.com
also reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders in scenarios like
inaccuracies in pricing of product on website and stock unavailability. We may
also require additional verifications or information before accepting any
order. We will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or
if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is
cancelled after your card has been charged, the said amount will be reversed to
your Card Account. Any promotional voucher used for the cancelled orders may
not be refunded.
The customer may be
considered fraudulent if any of the following scenarios are met:

Account for the
customers falling in fraudulent or loss to business category may be blocked.
Any gift credits earned through loyalty or referral program will be forfeited
in such case.
Cancellation of Bulk Orders
RiponTea.com may cancel any orders that classify
as 'Bulk Order' under certain criteria at any stage of the product delivery. An
order can be classified as 'Bulk Order' if it meets with the below mentioned
criteria, and any additional criteria as defined by RiponTea.com:
Any promotional voucher used for placing the 'Bulk Order' may not be refunded
Process for Pilferage/
Damage Claim
If a customer raises a complaint for partial
item/partial order through Customer Care

Customer fails to
provide adequate information about the case

Customer fails to
provide snapshots of the packet and box(if any)
·
If an opened delivery
was received, pilferage claims must be made the same day
·
Customer must not
dispose the packaging for 3-4 days post delivery. We
might need to pick-up your packaging for investigation at our end.
What we do about mispricings
·
Despite our best
efforts, a small number of the many items in our catalogue are mispriced.
However, we verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures.

If an item's correct
price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and send you
the item.
·
If a product's correct
price is higher than our stated price, we will cancel your order and notify you
of that cancellation.
Restriction of
Deliveries
·
Delivery of any of the
products ordered shall be restricted to within the Boundaries India. These restrictions
shall continue until such time that any changes are notified through our
website.
·
Door delivery of ordered
products shall be confined to areas where the contracted courier service has
the facility to do so.
·
Intimation regarding inability
to service your order will be sent through email. You are requested to check the
email address provided by you.
